Non-members will enjoy 50% off our fitness center daily drop-in fees this May! For just $5 for residents and $7.50 for non-residents, you’ll have access to the fitness center, walking track, open gym/turf, and group fitness classes (if space is available). Fit & Play Child Care and Ackerman Alps climbing wall are available for additional fees.

Core Secrets Nobody Talks About

This fun, educational, 60-minute workshop will change the way you do your core routine forever! Join Eric Su, certified personal trainer, for this eye opening and life altering core workshop. Just $45 for residents; $60 for non-residents. Resident registration for this program begins on Sunday, March 18 at 10pm; non-resident on Monday, April 2 at 8:30am. Yoga & Meditation Class: Special Time!

Hey, members! Haven’t had a chance to try on of our popular yoga classes? We’re offering our Yoga/Meditation class at a special date and time – Saturday, May 19 at 1pm! This mindful yoga class will focus on a slower pace, increased range of motion, and balance. It will conclude with a 15-minute meditation, which has been proven to lower blood pressure and heart rate by reducing stress and anxiety. Free for Ackerman SFC fitness members.

$5 Indoor Rock Climbing Special

Residents and non-residents are invited to climb the Ackerman Alps during open climb hours for just $5 per visit! Climbing is an excellent low-impact sport for all ages. It helps develop all muscle groups from the back and shoulders, to legs, arms, and even fingers.


June 1 – June 30
Group Fitness Challenge

Regular fitness routine getting boring? Tired of logging miles on the treadmill? Need a reason to try a new fitness class? Complete the June Group Fitness Challenge and take at least one class in 4 out of the 5 categories: cycling, full-body, core, yoga, and dance! As you complete classes, mark off the category on the Challenge Board in the group fitness studio. Members who complete the Challenge by July 1st will be entered into a raffle for some great prizes.

NEW: Yoga in the Park

Vinyasa-style yoga in nature uses postures and breathing techniques through continual movements from one pose to another. This discipline gives a cardiovascular benefit which more traditional forms of yoga do not. It can also increase muscle strength, endurance, flexibility, and reduce stress levels. Accessible to most fitness levels; modifications available. Class takes place from 9am-9:45am. Resident/non-resident fees: $65/$80. Resident registration for this program begins on Sunday, March 18 at 10pm; non-resident on Monday, April 2 at 8:30am. Register.

Patriotic Month

Show your patriotism! Wear red, white, or blue on the days marked on the calendar to be entered into our raffle with prizes including: 4 daily passes to Sunset Pool, 4 rounds of mini golf, a $15 Starbucks gift card, a $15 Muscle Maker Grill gift card, or a free personal training session. Freedom Four™ 4-Mile Run

Start your 4th of July running for a good cause at the Freedom Four™ 4-Mile Run! Proceeds help benefit the Glen Ellyn Park District Scholarship Fund, providing program scholarships for families in our community experiencing economic hardship. Friday, August 24 from 6pm-9pm
Tween Night

Tweens ages 8-12 will enjoy an evening of fun playing sports and interacting with friends on the turf of Ackerman! Sports played will include soccer and dodgeball and everyone will get a chance to climb the rock wall! Each participant will enjoy a piece of pizza to end the night. Parents must accompany their child(ren) for check-in and check-out. Resident registration for this program begins on Sunday, March 18 at 10pm; non-resident on Monday, April 2 at 8:30am.
