Pickleball

This over-sized table tennis sport began with a dog, like all great things do.

Pickleball is named after the founder’s dog, Pickles, and is played on a badminton-sized court with a medium-sized paddle and whiffle ball. You can visit http://www.usapa.org as a resource for excellent beginner videos and to learn the rules of the game. Play pickleball during open pickleball hours in our gym, and check out our outdoor courts when the weather is nice at the park district’s Village Green Park.
